June 6 2010: Yesterdayevening we celebrated our albumrelease which turned out to be a great party. Thanks to everyone who showed up and of course a special honour to Folkcorn and Huldrefolk!

June 1 2010: Our debutalbum is out now! You can get it via Apollon Records but also directly through us. See our new webshop (see the link above).
This Saturday June 5 our we celebrate our albumpresentation with Folkcorn and Huldrefolk. Bring your mom!
May 17 2010: Unfortunatley our Flemish brothers Waelcyrge aren't able to play at our releaseparty. Huldrefolk, also from Flanders, shall replace them. Another gig has been affirmed. Spread the word!
April 14 2010: Finally we can announce that we have found our new drummer. The man is Ask Ty Arctander, also in Kampfar, and with him in place Mondvolland finally is complete again. We are already busy for upcoming gigs.

Several new gigs are affirmed. Our releaseparty will be held in The Stage in Arnhem on 5 June. Together with Folkcorn and Waelcyrge (formerly known as Wapenspraak & Drinkgelag) we will celebrate the release of our debutalbum.
February 4 2010: After several months of silence there finally is some news about our debutalbum. Yesterdayevening we signed a contract with Apollon Records, they will release our debutalbum called d'Olde roop later this year. Keep checking our website for more news.
September 1 2009: We decided to temporarily cancel all bookings. We will first search for a drummer and then work on a new setlist and show.

December 11 2008: Dutch 'pop-magazine' FRET devoted an article about folkmetal in their december issue. People from the Netherlands can get this free magazine in almost every cd- or instrumentshop. Among others, there are interviews with Heidevolk, Grimm, Chain of Dogs and Mondvolland about the upcoming growth of folkmetal in our country. For a preview, click here (link).
November 22 2008: Finally. Our EP which will come out in December is now listenable at our MySpace (link). And we have a new concert scheduled.
November 12 2008: We updated the picture-section. Our official bandphoto's are now online at 'Downloads'. The pictures are shot by Awik Balaian.

October 26 2008: With pride we announce that, after a wild metalevening in Zevenaar, we are chosen out of two other bands to be the opening act of the Geldersch Metal Treffen at the 20th of December. At this festival a.o. also play Hail of Bullets and Thronar. We thank the jury and organisers.
October 2 2008: The recordings of our album are being finished this coming month, then the mix and master will follow. Our first EP bearing the title ...daar naast de Urthensula! shall see the light in December. For more information, see 'Releases'.
September 19 2008: We have two new gigs planned, one is as support act of Kampfar.
July 7 2008: Our first foreign adventure has come to a good end. Pictures from this performance can be found at 'Downloads'. We also have two new gigs planned.

June 1 2008: Willemijn is, for personal reasons, not a Mondvolland member anymore. Therefore we are looking for a new violinplayer.
May 25 2008: Laurens van der Zee from folkformation Folkcorn has played the flute for our album. We also refreshed the pictures from our studio-adventure, check out the link below.
April 24 2008: We welcome Harold to the clan, he will be our future 2nd (solo)guitarist.
