Last months we've worked hard on new material that will be released on our second album later this year. The upcoming gigs will be the premiere of some of this material.
4 May 2013:
Last week all bass guitar parts were recorded. Now we're up for mixing. This spring a bird will be released.
21 April 2013:
This weekend we recorded the vocal parts for several different releases (60+ minutes of music in total).
All the music will contain a lot of different vocal styles. One song even includes guest vocals by our former vocalist.
Now only the bass guitar parts are left... it will not take long until our next release!

Last week we recorded the guitar parts for several different releases (60+ minutes of music in total). Coming week we will continue with that plus the recording of bass and vocals.

This weekend we recorded the drum tracks for several different releases (60+ minutes of music in total). A very special thanks to Asher de Vries (Hologram Earth, Fluisteraars) for the great help.
Our first upcoming release (partly a re-release) will already be released this May. A very special and very limited edition will be only available directly through us.

A Dutch article called "Erfgoed metal in Gelderland" (Heritage metal in Gelderland) has been published in the renowned magazine Gelders Erfgoed (Gueldrian Heritage).
It contains a short history of "heritage metal" (hence the title) and some words about Mondvolland and our friends of Heidevolk and Fluisteraars.

Back home. The end of something completely different.
We would hereby like to thank all people that attended our shows, venues, promotors, organisers and especially our new friends we found in Virus, Vulture Industries, Krakow, tour manager Honza, sound engineer Nico and merchandise ladies Mira and Isabella for all their effort, hard work and good times. This was a week that will not be easily forgotten!
The webshop will be updated soon. Our debut album is now sold out and the white tour shirts are for sale.

We've played an energetic (but short) show at Geldersch Metal Treffen in our hometown last Saturday. Thanks to all who showed up and above all the organisers for good care.
Today a positive review from this gig was published in our local newspaper "De Gelderlander". The article (in Dutch) can be read here.

As some of you already noticed, Ask is now for quite some time not our drummer anymore. Our gig last February was a very special fly-in show.
But he's only leaving us as Mondvolland's full time drummer. we know he will always be a big supporter of our band and we will support him with everything he does. Ask, thanks for all the good times! But you will be going to De Buik once...
That said, we hereby proudly announce our new drummer: we welcome Nico to the clan!
Our first gig with our new line-up is already scheduled: the 13th of October we will play Gelders Metal Treffen in Arnhem again! This also mean you can book us again.

Vanaf heden zoeken wij een nieuwe drummer. Enkele eisen:
- muzikaal breed inzetbaar, maar in ieder geval affiniteit met black metal
- minstens een keer per week beschikbaar voor repetitie (omg. Arnhem)
- wonend in omg. Arnhem of afstand/vervoer moet geen probleem zijn
Leeftijd onbelangrijk. Podiumervaring en/of baard is een pre, maar geen vereiste.

Laurens van der Zee from Dutch folk legends Folkcorn (link) will read some of his own poetry on internet radio. They will also play our 'De Vuurman van Papendal' (from our 2010 debut album) with an explanation on the lyrics by Laurens himself. Laurens played several kinds of flute on our debutalbum.
It will be aired this Saturday (April 7) between 21-23h (GMT+1) at Radio Centraal.
Again we've found a positive and well written review. Thanks to all those writers for the support!
